We offer quality accommodations at competitive rates. Accommodations are provided in either gers (the traditional felt  tent of Mongolia) or rooms in the main buildings.  The main lodge has a comfortable dining area with a cozy fireplace with views across the lake to the pastures of nomadic herder’s families.

Each ger is furnished with locally made comfortable wooden beds with real mattresses, wood stove and hand decorated coffee table.  We have the most comfortable beds in Khovsgol!

Khovsgol is becoming the most famous destination within Mongolia and attracting more and more people each year for its pristine landscape and unique lifestyle of the ethnic minority, Tsaatan.

A new airstrip, improved road to Muren, and the promise of full time electricity in summer 2008 all combine to meet the needs of foreign travelers.  Even Internet access is not far away!

We are proud to be the first tourism camp to introduce environmentally friendly toilets that contribute to the conservation of Lake Khovsgol. These are ecosan (short for ecological sanitation)  toilets which are clean, odor free and comfortable but without using any water, can significantly minimize the impact of human waste on the environment and recycle it as a resource of nutrients to the soil.

Your stay at the Inn, by being a good example of using the toilet properly, will help us to educate local people how they can also conserve Lake Khovsgol.

A stone fireplace is built in the dining room of the main log home to provide cozy warmth for our guests. We have patios and open fire place with incredible views. In the evenings, you can enjoy the open fire for conversation or just relax after a day exploring the countryside.

We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner cooked fresh every day. Our cooks are very creative within the limited green vegetable choices you can have in a remote place like Khatgal.  Meals are Mongolian and Western; soup, rice and noodle dishes, sandwiches and a variety of salads.

WWhen you are off for the day for hiking, riding or boating, our staff will prepare a box lunch for you.
For a special order, we also cook “horhog”, barbecued or roasted  goat in whole.  You will experience this ancient way of cooking by nomads from scratch; from buying the goat to serving it on the table.
